Joanne is able to offer Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling), which is a gentle healing technique to treat symptoms of the ear, nose and throat.

 

I will first take a good look inside your outer ear canal and ear drum, using an Otoscope.  This will let me see the current condition of your ears.
 

Gentle heat from the candle stimulates the blood and lymph circulation, boosting the immune system and regulating pressure within your sinuses.

 

It's also used as a means to equalise pressure in the ears in the case of sinusitis, glue ear, colds, flu, catarrh, tonsillitis, headaches and migraines and balancing the ears before and after a flight.

 

After taking a medical history and checking your ears for infections, You will get a gentle face massage followed by a candle treatment when an Ear Candle will be placed gently in your ear. Once it's alight, you'll hear a crackling sound and experience a warming sensation.

 

When burned down, the first candle will be removed and the treatment repeated in your other ear.

 

Your ears will feel warm and you will be left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
